Italian Small Plates

Build your own Italian meal, one plate at a time.

The Italian way

Start small, stay a while

Italian tables have long begun with antipasti, a handful of small plates that open the meal and set the pace. Bravado serves dinner that way, so you can build the meal you want from first plate to last.

Warm and simple

Focaccia, goat cheese and meatballs

House focaccia comes with red sauce, whipped butter, EVOO and balsamic. Whipped goat cheese is served with pistachio, honey and sourdough. Bravado meatballs are pork, beef and veal in red sauce, topped with whipped ricotta.

Fresh and bright

Tomatoes, stracciatella and risotto

Caprese salad pairs heirloom tomatoes with stracciatella, basil and EVOO. Tuscan risotto comes with wild mushrooms, reggiano and truffle oil.

Wood-fire Brussels bring whiskey maple gastrique, pecorino and pancetta, and roasted broccolini is dressed with garlic, reggiano and lemon vinaigrette. The Italian-style tradition is to mix and match, so order across the list.

Before the main event

Pour something to start

Italian dinners often open with a bitter, citrusy drink. Try zest intentions, with Carpano Botanic Bitter, limoncello and club soda, or the olive branch, with Fords gin, olive oil and dry vermouth. Prefer wine? Bellafina prosecco from the Veneto is poured by the glass.

When you are ready for more, move on to fresh pasta or a wood-fired pizza, and see the Italian wine list. For the board, see antipasti and charcuterie. Bravado is at 1770 Galleria Blvd, Suite A, in Cool Springs, Franklin.

No seed oils, no HFCS, no MSG, nothing artificial. Food made by Bravado contains no artificial ingredients; purchased products such as soda may.
